From Stephanie C. – Atlanta Metro, GA
Y’all, I’m down 30 pounds.
It’s been 3 months. 3 months of stress-inducing COVID and feasting holidays. And I’ve managed to lose weight.
Back in October, I knew it was time to get my butt in gear. I feel my best when I eat keto; it’s agreeable with me. I reached out and hired a keto health coach because I wanted accountability.
But you know what? It was SO much more than accountability. We don’t just talk about food. It’s exercise, intermittent fasting, mindfulness, gratitude, breath work, meal planning AND she prays for me. Basically, a health overhaul.
A 30 lb weight loss is nice. Not gonna lie. But more importantly, I feel so much better. My energy is great. I’ve been strength training for 50 minutes 3 x a week. Dabbling in Pilates and working on flexibility and balance. One of my goals is to do full splits. Weird goal, I know.
My numbers are great. Blood sugar is good. I’m maintaining ketosis. Resting heart rate is low 60’s. I’m eating well. If you follow my stories, you know that I’m not depriving myself. ? I love to take pictures of my food.
Here’s another interesting thing….food used to scream at me. I thought about food a lot. I would be planning dinner while eating lunch. Food no longer screams. It whispers. It’s become a thing. Not THE thing. Can anyone relate?
I’m here to tell you that regardless of your age or health issues, there is always HOPE. You are never too old to make changes and to feel better.
And a huge shout out to my coach,Kim Calhoun. If you are looking for a transformation, she is your woman. It’s an intense program but so worth it.
